Azita Ghanizada

Azita is a native of Kabul in Afghanistan. The woman is Afghan American who lives in the United States. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled their home country to the US and received the right to stay in the US as asylum seekers. Her family raised her with sisters who resided living in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her career in the television industry by appearing on numerous National Commercials. Ghanizada received a nomination for best actress at the 2004 film festival for her performance in the Laura Neri movie A Kiss on the Nose. In the film, she was the character Chiara. The actress was an actor in a variety of television shows, like How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych & Castle. Her most recent roles include the role of a supporting character in Blood Shot, (2009) inspired by the science-fiction film Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada started her acting career in 2008 when she joined the team for General Hospital. She was cast in the General Hospital spin-off General Hospital. as Dr. Saira Bhata, an expert in holistic health care in the second season of Night Shift. Ghanizada was cast as Kelly the Prada salesgirl on HBO Entourage. In 2009, she was a part of the Tough Trade pilot from Weeds creator Jenji Cohan and executive-producer T Bone Burnett.
